Training Information
CCFT offers a variety of training opportunities to groups on a regularly scheduled basis throughout the Eastern Missouri and Western Illinois area. We can also provide dedicated training to civic or social groups, special interest and trade organizations on demand.
Concealed Carry
CCFT offers group training to meet the specific requirements of Missouri, Florida and Utah in order to apply for a concealed firearm permit. Obtaining a permit from your home state may or may not be the best choice especially if you travel extensively in other areas of the country. Costs range from $75.00 to $150.00 depending on the program selected. Call or email for scheduling.
National Rifle Association (NRA) Training
CCFT offers the NRA Home Firearm Safety,
Basic Pistol and Personal Defense programs utilizing NRA Certified Instructors. For
someone new to firearms, these programs provide the essential basic education and
familiarity with firearms that are the building blocks for more advanced programs.
Purchase and Transfer of Firearms
CCFT is a federally licensed firearms dealer and is prepared to
meet all your firearm needs. All transactions are handled in accordance with the requirements
of state and federal law.
We specialize in the sale of new handguns. Buying a firearm simply because it "looks good", you saw
it in a magazine, heard about it from a friend, or had a dealer recommend it because they have one "in stock", can be a costly mistake. There are many critical factors that should be considered in your buying decision.
Since CCFT has no obligation to any particular manufacturer or distributor,
we are committed to helping you buy the “right” gun at a price that most dealers simply cannot
match.
Selling or transferring a firearm requires strict adherence to both state and federal law.
There can be serious consequences if these laws are not followed precisely. As a receiving
or transferring dealer, we can handle the process for you at a very reasonable fee.
